Will Taliban regime survive ?

Taliban face multiple challenges, commonly the international recognition but more importantly the internal resistance can be the biggest hurdle in managing country. Although, during war against Nato, international community tried to dismantle the group but due to one ideology Jihad against Infidels and foreign troops invasion on Afghanistan. The group leaders succeeded in forming cohesion. But now Taliban is out of war zone and came to managing country with extremely little experience and lack of skilled workers.

1: Will Taliban be able to pay the salary of commanders ? Before Taliban was fighting voluntarily as for the sake of islam and imposing sharia law ( Jihad fee sabelilah).

2: Different factions have different views on external affairs and inclusiveness, some Taliban specially young that joined the group to impose sharia law might enforce idea of imposing full sharia law irrespective of isolation from international community because for them imposing sharia law is more important then any thing else. Taliban leaders making any compromise might divert young blood to ISK.

3: The resistance from ISK which has former Taliban chief commanders who knows Taliban every bit might challenge governance and looking for vacuum to be created and take advantage of it. There are already statements that Taliban played with martyrs and dealt with Americans. Afghans in tribal areas with very little knowledge about global affairs can easily be influenced.

4: Are Taliban getting independent in their policy making and key decisions ? I think (YES) to some extend, well, generally it is believed that Pakistan and Iran plays a significant role in forming Taliban government policy but we must remember that Taliban quetta shura has been shifted to Kandahar, and Taliban are no more insurgent group but now Afghanistan government which has millions of dollars' weapons and help of key regional players such as China and Russia.

5: The appointments of Mullahs as ministers is different area but it would have been good to appoint skilled people but the question is whether skilled people want to work them ? As Afghanistan has witness brain drain during evacuation. I believe the Mullahs can only play the role of monitoring but do not interfere in planing and strategies. Taliban leaders are compelled to post these leaders who fought with them since ages. But Education minister has made a big blunder and they need to be trained as the world is watching them.

I think Taliban for now needs to focus more internal cohesion rather than anything else because it might dismantle everything they have achieved together.

We must remember that International news reporters and community are blaming Afghan corrupt leaders who put their self interest before national interest but despite America knew about their corruption they were being funded, so we must blame those who gave such huge amount to them despite knowing.

Time will decide how `Taliban will manage a country run by international donors since ages.

Hope for an inclusive and peaceful Afghanistan where every citizen rights are respected.
